‘Bunk-Art 2’ inauguration one day ago generated a prompt reaction by the Nationwide Union for Ex-Persecuted and Political Prisoners Integration (NUEPPI). Through a press statement released on Sunday NUEPPI chair, Besim Ndregjonaj considered the inauguration of ‘Bunk-Art 2’ an attempt by Prime Minister, Edi Rama to reinstate dictator’s image through any possible artistic form.
“Power is a tool in democracy and objective in a dictatorship. Power’s goal is social cohesion, not social conflict. Social cohesion in our case requires clearance of crime and criminal communist. You can’t hide behind 100 pictures exposed inside a bunker, dictatorship’s symbol. You used a hypocrite language inviting us to visit the bunker, instead of finding the courage to condemn Enver Hoxha, your spiritual leader,” said Ndregjoni addressing to Prime Minister, Edi Rama.
He underlined that PM Rama’s bunker will have the same fate of Enver Hoxha’s statue.
“Albanian anticommunists will not remain silent while PM Rama tries to defend the communism symbols by using martyrs’ image,” declared Ndregjoni.
