
Democratic Party chair, Lulzim Basha met on Saturday with German Federal Minister of Agriculture and Food, Christian Schmidt. Multiple challenges currently faced by Albania were the main topic of discussion during this meeting.
Opposition’s leader, Basha raised the concern for the decriminalization law non-implementation, a fact that according to him endangers the rule of law and democracy in Albania. Narcotics cultivation in a large scale was another concern expressed by Basha during this meeting. According to him this criminal activity has currently become country’s most lucrative activity.
Referring to the next year parliamentary elections Basha said that this Albania’s main challenge while adding that Democratic Party (DP) will continue to contribute for country’s European integration.
