Speedboat Seized in Vlora, Suspicions of Drugs Trafficking

Border police in Vlora seized a 6.5 meter long speedboat on Sunday in Gjipe Bay, on suspicions of drugs trafficking. Police sources informed that three individuals, whose names have not yet been unveiled, were arrested while on board of the speedboat. Meanwhile despite police suspicions that the speedboat was used for drugs’ trafficking no narcotics were found on board.

Another speedboat was burned a few days ago in Grama Bay after a long pursuit by the police. Over two tons of cannabis was seized by the police while the traffickers managed to elude capture.
