Ilia Stefo is the new mayor of Kolonja. At the end of the counting process, Central Electoral Commission (CEC) made public the final result by declaring winner the candidate of the Left Wing Coalition “The Alliance for European Albania”, Ilia Stefo.
He took 5136 votes, around 2000 more than the opposition candidate, Dritan Hajro from the Agrarian Party or 62.86% of the total votes.
Meanwhile Dritan Hajro took only 37.14%.
The voting process came to an end at 18:00 and according to CEC official data, voting turnout was 49.6%.
