Muslims across the world begin on Monday the holy month of Ramadan that will ends with the celebration of the Eid al-Fitr.
Ramadan, the celebration marking Prophet Mohammed’s revelation of the Quran, began this year on June 6 and is celebrated worldwide. Annually the occasion unfolds on the 9th month of the Muslim calendar.
One day before the holy month of Ramadan, the head of Muslim Community in Albania, Skender Brucaj wished on Sunday to all the Albanian believers, for a prosperous month of Ramadan.
"Dear Albanian Muslim believers wherever you are, let me on behalf of the Albanian Muslim Community, but also in my own name, to greet the peace and security that comes from our Creator Merciful, the Most Compassionate and to congratulate prosperous month of Ramadan," said Brucaj.
