A total of 12 gross salaries will be given to the former National Bank Governor, Ardian Fullani as an indemnification by the National Bank of Albania. This was the decision taken on Thursday by the First Degree Administrative Court. Meanwhile all the remaining requests submitted by Fullani’s lawyer were overruled by the court. His request for reinstatement in this high post and a moral indemnification fund of Lek 15 million were overruled by the court. The judges declared that overruling decision was based on the fact that the requests were presented beyond the legal deadline.

The Former National Bank Governor Fullani was declared not-guilty by the Tirana First Degree Court on October 2015 for the charges of duty abusiveness for the theft of Lek 713 million that became known as the “Treasure’s theft scandal”.
