324 New Soldiers of the Armed Forces Oath Ceremony

The Albanian Armed Forced effective’ number was increased with 324 effectives at the end of the oath taking ceremony that was held in the Troops School in Bunavia. The oath taking and the new recruits certification ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense, Petro Koci,Vlora Mayor Dritan Leli, and other representatives of the Defense Ministry.

During a short speech in front of the new recruits Koci considered this a day of special pride and joy that will never be repeated despite the career that might be pursued by the recruits.

“Since this day you guarantee not only the Republic of Albania but also the entire Northern-Atlantic Alliance for a maximal commitment in defense of the country’s integrity and the peace and stability in the entire world” said Koci.

Vlora Mayor Leli said that this was among most emotional days of his work due to the fact that those new recruits have chosen to give their most precious richness, their life, to their country.

“I felt deeply touched while hearing the oath words” said Leli while thanking the new soldiers for choosing to serve their country.
