Albania will bring soon the regionalization of the production and management of energy with the with Kosovo and Macedonia electric power path. This was the declaration of the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, during the inauguration of the Babica's electric substation on Friday.
“We will realize the dream to connect definitively the electric power road between Albania and Kosovo.
The famous interconnection will become a reality soon,” said Rama.
According to him, investment like those of Babica is being realized due to the energy reform and law.“Two years ago the loss of the energy distribution system was 52%. Most of the electric power was stolen. We inherited a company with $1 billion of debts accumulated from 2007 until 2013,” underlined Rama.
