Minister of Interior Affairs, Saimir Tahiri, rejected on Thursday the news on harsh debates inside Socialist Party related to the electoral process. Tahiri denied totally those socialists who are affected from the debates for not being able to realize SP's Leadership elections.
“This is a nonsense story. We are reforming the party. Certainly, elections will take place in all SP forums. The elections will take place for the party's leadership, as well as on the other structures,” said Tahiri.
He explained that the status of SP defines the way elections should be in cases the party is in Opposition or in cases it is in the Governance. He did not comment on recent declarations of Socialist MP, Ben Blushi, who was very critical of SP's electoral process.
