Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta met on Wednesday with the Austrian Constitutional Court chairman, Gerhart Holzinger. This meeting was attended by the Austrian ambassador in Tirana, Johan Sattler, and the Albanian Constitutional Court chairman, Bashkim Dedja.

Pairs praised two countries excellent relations while emphasizing the importance of the cooperation between two constitutional courts.

Judicial reform in Albania was among meeting principal topics. Speaker Meta underlined that the constitutional package approval by the parliament is just a matter of weeks.

He said that “Albania deserves a trustable, professional and reliable judicial system that reflects integrity during the decision-making process serving to the citizens’ interest and the investments clime in Albania”.
