Albania Constructive Role for the Peace in W. Balkans – Says Meta

Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta had a meeting with the President of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the congressman Michael Turner. New security challenges that lay ahead of the North Atlantic Alliance, the risk of terrorism, the migratory crisis and the open-doors policy were among meeting principal topics. Speaker Meta underlined that Albania will keep playing a constructive role for the peace and stability in the Western Balkans, while participating in the NATO missions at service of the peace and global security.

NATO Assembly President, Turner praised the work done by the Albanian Parliament for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly meeting in Tirana while stressing that Albania remains an dedicated and highly appreciated partner.
