The Minister of Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj labels the emigrants� voting as a challenge for the government. During the conference for the possibilities of the Albanian emigrants to vote, he listed on Tuesday the criteria that should be fulfilled in order to enable the Albanian living abroad participation in voting process.

�Transparency in ballot counting is the first criteria needed for emigrants� voting. Legal framework for the emigrants should also be adjusted. A functional system of addresses is also needed along with a detailed register with the names of Albanians living in other countries,� declared Xhafaj.

He stressed that these issues should be addressed without further delays in order to enable the emigrants� voting.
