A rare collection of phonograph and gramophones will be showcased on Tuesday in the National Historic Museum (NHM) premises along with some old vinyl LP discs. The objects expected to be exposed are part of the Central Archives of the State (CAS) audio fund and are seen as a great value for the musical heritage.

They belong to a collection previously owned by British collector Martin Moir who donated in 1986 to CAS some 18.000 gramophone discs, 20 mechanic and electric gramophone, 2 phonographs and a series of period magazines dedicated to the music discs.

The exhibition will be opened in the Stamps Hall, situated in the 2nd floor of the National Historic Museum.
