The next three months will be seen as a test period for the newly appointed prisons directors in the aspect of war on corruption and security increase in these institutions. The Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjoni made this warning during an analysis of the General Directory of Prisons on Tuesday.
�The new directors� activity should be focused on the security increase within these institutions, the war on corruption among the staff ranks and a more qualitative treatment of the prisoners. The results of their work at the end of a three months period will define their continuation on the office or their dismissal,� declared Gjonaj.
In conclusion she underlined that 2018 is seen as the year of great reforms in penitentiary system in Albania.
