Durres Municipal Council adopted, at the end of a long debate, the fiscal package 2017. The adopted package foresees a decrease up to a minimum and local taxes and fees unification for all former local units, municipalities and communes. Right wing representatives in the Municipal Council joined the votes with left wing representatives unanimously approving with 37 votes the new fiscal packages.
Democrats suggested a decrease of local taxes and fees up to 30% for the city of Durres and up to 80% for former-communes and city halls.
