Heavy rain and strong winds during Saturday’s morning hours have caused problems in the energy supply bringing down pillars and cutting conductors. According to Energy Power Distribution Operator (OSHEE) currently 39 feeders have no energy supply. Tirana, Durresi and Vlora rank among most problematic areas.
Over 1500 OSHEE employees are currently operating in groups for a rapid solution of the situation generated by the bad weather. Currently all the water-pumps systems are operative thanks to the guaranteed energy supply by OSHEE.
Uninterrupted energy supply has also been guaranteed to the institutions of special importance, like the hospitals.
