‘Universiada’, a sportive activity between different Albanian Universities will soon be held in Tirana’s new Olympic Park. This fact was announced on Friday by Tirana Mayor, Erion Veliaj during the opening of ‘Universiada 2016’.
“Tirana’s Olympic Park will be the most modern, fantastic ones in the entire region. Even more qualitative competitions will take place in this modern facility,” declared Mayor Veliaj.
Olympic Park construction is part of a large scale project undertaken by Tirana city hall aiming to give a new image to the city while meeting citizens’ needs for more recreational spaces.
