Greece, 280 Kg of Cannabis Seized, Two Albanians Arrested

Greek police informed on Thursday over a harsh blow given to a criminal organization involved in large quantity of drugs trafficking from Albania. Two Greek citizens and two Albanian emigrants were arrested during this raid, while nine other individuals have been declared wanted by the Greek police. A quantity of 280 kg of Cannabis Sativa was seized by the police during this large scale raid.

According to the Greek police the countdown for this criminal group destruction started several days ago. A Greek citizen was arrested while driving a vehicle loaded with 36.8 kg of Cannabis Sativa, along with an Albanian emigrant that served as vanguard with another vehicle. A 2nd Albanian emigrant and another Greek citizen were arrested in a 2ndmoment due to their involvement in this criminal group.

A quantity of 67.4 kg of cannabis sativa was seized at the end of the arrested individuals’ houses. Greek police sources informed that another quantity of 161.2 of cannabis sativa had been seized earlier as part of this raid.
