Security Summit, Rama-Vucic Debates for Trepca
October 13, 2016

Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama and his Serbian counterpart, Alexander Vucic involved in a debate on Trepca mine during the Security Summit in Belgrade.

“Trepca mine is situated in Kosovo, thus cannot be reallocated in Belgrade. That mine belongs to Kosovo citizens. This issue is related to the economy,” said PM Rama.

In a prompt reaction Serbian PM, Alexander Vuçiç declared that his Albanian counterpart, Rama dared to do daily politics in a forum for security.

“Since the first moment that I saw a large presence of the media I knew that PM Rama would talk about daily politics. I wouldn’t do such thing. But PM Rama is a better politician. He called this an economical issue, but I would say that Kosovo authorities did a wrong move in relation to this issue.

Referring to dialogue with Kosovo Serbian PM Vucic said that this process will continue, despite discordances on many issues.
