
The efforts for a compromise on the judicial reform was been focused on two major parties. Furthermore the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland, agenda did not include a meeting with Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) leadership.
In this context the head of SMI Parliamentary Group, Petrit Vasili addressed a public request to the Ad-Hoc Committee Chairman Fatmir Xhafaj late on Sunday. He asked for detailed information over the proposed solutions between pairs. Meanwhile media was informed after Nuland’s declarations that pairs are negotiating on a new proposal. According to Vasili, SMI group wants to be informed over this proposal in order to present its political attitude.
Using a not so-friendly language Vasili requires detailed information, despite the fact that the confidential negotiations might forbid such thing.
Socialist Movement for Integration has repeatedly declared the necessity for judicial reform approval through consensus with opposition.
