
The Democratic Party MP, Flamur Noka repeated on Friday the request for the Minister of Internal Affairs, Sajmir Tahiri resignation and the State Police General Director, Haki Çako in order to clear the path to a comprehensive and independent inquiry by the prosecution office over the surveillance equipment. He declared that this scandal’ echo has gone beyond the Albanian borders. According to Noka the question posed by the international media related to this device entrance in Albania concealment if it was meant to be used only for training purposes.
“Neighbor country has been shocked by the illegal surveillance scandal. Prime Minister Edi Rama refused to give any explication despite the fact that this issue is reaching an international level. Who used this device? Who become subject to surveillance? His lack of reaction infringes the law, the country’s constitution and the human rights” said Noka.
