Kosovo: Thank You, FIFA, Thank You, Mr. President

Kosovo admission by FIFA was followed by a wave of massive joy among the citizens. The Head of Kosovo Football Association, Fadil Vokrri expressed his gratitude to the FIFA president Gianni Infantino for the given support.

“Thank you, Mr. President. This is a very important date for us. The entire population of Kosovo will applaud this decision. We have waited for such a long time” declared Vokrri.

The President of the Republic of Kosovo , Hashim Thaci focused on the long path that Kosovo went through aiming to achieve this historical decision.

“We started with the ping-pong and ended with the football. We have given so many talented players to the Europe . Their number exceeds the Europe ’s containing capacities.

A felicitation message was addressed also by the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“Kosovo admission in the UEFA was followed by the admission in the FIFA. Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations” said PM Rama.

“Koha Ditore” analyst Abdixhiku used some mocking word referring to the voting process during FIFA congress in Mexico .

“We won by 141 against 23. We squeezed them” said Abdixhiu.

The Kosovo national team coach, Bunjaku declared that his team is more than ready for the World Cup 2018 qualifying rounds.
