Measles Virus, Number of the Affected Goes Up to 27

Public Health Institute and University Hospital Center "Mother Teresa", urge for vaccination against measles virus as the number of the affected goes up to 27.
According to them, 80% of the cases with this disease are to children under the age of 1 who have not been vaccinated against this virus and the only solution is to speed up the vaccination process and encourage all parents who do not vaccinate their children to do it.
"We have applied the vaccine to the risked groups and we are applying accelerated vaccination to children 9-12 months. In a short period of time, 2047 children are vaccinated," reacted these institutions.
Measles is a viral disease that can spread rapidly. Also known as rubeola or morbilli, measles is an endemic disease, meaning it is continually present in a community, and many people develop resistance. It is an unpleasant condition but one that normally passes without treatment within 7 to 10 days.
After a bout of measles, a person gains immunity for the rest of their life. They are very unlikely to contract measles a second time.
