'100 Villages' program, government�s latest initiative aimed to support agriculture sector, was presented on Wednesday by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Niko Peleshi during a visit in the municipality of Shijak.
He underlined that this program is focused not only on these villages in need of assistance but is also based on a list of villages with highest economic potentials.
�This program will main focus on the investments in infrastructure, public services improvement and subsidies through grants for agro-tourism aiming to combine the incomes from agriculture sector with those deriving from non-agricultural activities in the rural areas,� said Peleshi.
