Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj calls for charity toward people in need in the framework of New Year�s Eve. He exploited the opportunity given to him during a charity lunch organized on Thursday by the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority (AFSA) to extend this appeal toward individuals and institutions inviting them to cooperate with municipality in this aspect.

�Charity should become an indivisible part of our life. On view of the New Year�s Eve I call upon every institution, private organization or businessman to play a role by providing a meal for those in need in the various social centers opened in Tirana,� declared Veliaj.

Referring to the positive response by AFSA to the municipality�s appeal through this charity lunch Veliaj thanked the institution�s director Ervin Ko�i, while adding that help is more than welcomed in order to enable future projects implementation.
