Judicial system monitoring has been placed under Premier Edi Rama control. This clear and direct declaration was made on Thursday by the Vice-chairman of Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Luan Rama who referred to a governments decision for the reorganization of the National Agency of Information Society (NAIS).

The government, or otherwise the Prime Minister Edi Rama, because no one dares to speak or object, approved a decision for the reorganization of NAIS. The first paragraph of this decision states that this agency is a central public institution that depends from the Prime Minister. NAIS is the administrator of every TIK system used by the state institutions or public administration bodies that depend from the Council of Ministers.
On the other side this decision refers also to those systems that currently are located in the Ministry of Justice and by law should depend from the High Council of Justice but instead are placed under Premiers control.

From now on the Premier will be the administrator of the below mentioned systems:

The judicial cases management system
The judicial cases management system in Administrative Courts

The governments decision is a clear violation of the law and the judicial reform. This is another scandal of this government that is making every possible effort to intimidate, subjugate and misuse the justice system, declared Luan Rama.

In his public denunciation the SMI vice-chair, Luan Rama also expressed the astonishment for the lack of reaction by the EURALIUS mission on this issue.

EURALIUS mission attitude during the entire period of discussion and the adoption of judicial reform has been more than fair and totally contrary to this decision taken by the government. The question is will they continue to remain silent? wrote Luan Rama.
