Rama: EU Praised the Reforms’ Impressive Progress

Through a message on the social networks on Monday Prime Minister, Edi Rama emphasized that EU representatives praised the progress-report for Albania. According to him EU member countries confirmed their willingness to support opening of accession negotiations with Albania during a working-breakfast in Brussels.

“EU member countries underlined the reforms impressive progress evidenced in the European Commission report and the respect for Albania’s regional policy. They also stressed the immediate necessity for vetting law implementation as a natural condition for this historical process continuity,” wrote PM Rama.

The chief of Albanian executive expressed his deepest gratitude to High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini and Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn defining them special friends and precious partners of Albania in this process.
