“Remand in Prison” was issued by the Tirana First Degree Court as a security measure against “Kastrioti” team president, Alban Vogli. He is facing trial accused of physical aggression toward the sportive journalist Eduard Ilnica. Vogli’s defense lawyer asked for his client immediate release while denying the charges against him. Vogli’s defense lawyer request was overruled by the court.
Sportive journalist Eduard Ilnica was subject to a brutal aggression on May 9 evening by a group of persons acting under Vogli’s orders. The origin of this physical violation might have been an article written by Ilnica over the episodes of violence during a match of “Kastrioti” a few days ago. Police inquiry for a full clarification of this grave act motives is still underway.
