TU Rector’s Electoral Process, PM Rama: No Interference by the Executive

Prime Minister Edi Rama declared on Tuesday that the high education system reform framework avoids every intervention by the executive in the academic world.

“The high education system reform guarantees universities’ autonomy. But this autonomy generates higher responsibilities. The executive will finance the visible part, the rector the internal part through this autonomy” said Prime Minister Rama.

He considered this reform a pivotal moment for the high education system adding that this reform would be in-existent if there would be no contestants.
