Judicial Reform, Lu and Vlahutin Meeting with Xhafaj

Judicial reform was the main topic of a meeting on Tuesday between the US Ambassador, Donald Lu, the EU Ambassador, Romana Vlahutin and the Head of the Ad-hoc committee for this reform, Fatmir Xhafaj. This meeting follows the Ad-Hoc committee meeting for the judicial reform held on Monday and the failure to reach a consensus on this issue. SP-DP did not manage to establish a dialogue. DP proposed ten new objections which go beyond the suggestions of the Venice Commission.

Meanwhile socialists accused the opposition of playing games with the judicial reform while lacks the will to complete it.
