The residents of Dragobia, Tropoja, held a protest this Monday to not allow companies built hydro power plants in the river's estuary.
Almost all merchants of the area, joined the call for protest and closed their activity, while other dozens block the main road axis.
The residents say that on Sunday they have heard mine explosions, thus being a serious danger even for the life of inhabitants who have been working in their lands.
The protest by blocking the road is just their first step, because it is expected to escalate further, say the residents.
It will intensify further by not letting the exploiting Valbona Companies to build hydropowers across the river, according to the protesters.
