Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) MP, Nasip Naço and the Mayor of Skrapar, Nesim Spahiu, denounced on Tuesday the last decision of the socialist within the municipal council to block the economic aid in this city.
In a press conference, they urged for urgent intervention in order to make possible that families in need takes the economic aid.
"Skrapar Municipality condemns the action that some members of the municipal council with their absence in the meetings, blocked the economic aid for families in need. 876 families and 418 economic aid applicants will remain without income from this situation," said Spahiu.
Meanwhile, Naco said that this act shows that Government does not want the development of the cities.
"Government has no intention for the development of Skrapar, to open new jobs and to fight poverty. They are leaving the citizens in this city with the only alternative, to emigrate," added Naco.
