The oil-workers protest arrears and unpaid social contribution issue may finally see a solution. The Minister of Finances and Economy, Arben Ahmetaj reacted on Wednesday over their latest threat to march again toward the capital suggesting a new solution for this issue.

He invited the oil-worker to submit an application in the employment offices asking to be given the status of unemployed in order to obtain a monthly payment from the state�s budget.

�Dispositions have been given to the employment office in Fieri district to provide assistance to the Ballsh oil-refinery workers that may apply for the status of unemployed and immediately benefit a monthly payment by the state,� declared Ahmetaj.

He also announced the opening of race for the investors willing to take over the oil refinery.
�The government remains firmly committed to support every serious investor that may present a business-plan for the oil-refinery reopening,� said the minister.
