The businessman Orest Sota, arrested a few weeks ago by Elbasan police while in possession of a sum of EUR 863.000, has been released. The Serious Crimes Appeal Court changed on Thursday the security measure for Sota releasing him on bail. A sum of ALL 5 Million was set as bail by the court for the 25-years old businessman release.

Besides the huge amount of money seized in Sota�s vehicle during his arrest the police found also two boating licenses in the name of former-Socialist Minister of Interior Sajmir Tahiri. Sota denied any connection with Tahiri claiming that the licenses had been forgotten in his car from the former-Minister of Interior driver.

Prosecution pretended that the EUR 863.000 found in the vehicle of Sota, were of the former socialist Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri.
