Prime Minister Edi Rama dismissal is the country's only cure. This clear and direct declaration was made on Thursday by the Democrat leader, Lulzim Basha who denounced the poor conditions in the country�s hospitals.

�This year has started in the worst possible way for the hospitals and health centers all over Albania. The situation, described by the doctors and patients, is scandalous. There�s a total lack of conditions, medicament and sufficient cures. The free-health service is no longer part of Premier Rama vocabulary whose government has completely abandoned the women, every society�s most vital element.

In spite of the fact that over 500 new cases of breast cancer are registered each year in Albania two analysis of vital importance for this disease diagnose and treatment are no longer performed in the Albanian hospitals. This service is provided only by the private sector with a cost of ALL 200.000.
Also, the analysis results for these women that become subject to breast examination in the public ambulatory service are not given to them since three years. It is rumored that even this service will soon be given by concession from Premier Rama. But until he takes a decision on this issue many women would have perished due to an absent elementary answer.

The situation will remain the same,due to the fact that citizens� health is not among PM Rama�s priorities, and furthermore the hospital directors do not react in defense of their patients. Democratic Party (DP) has repeatedly denounced the appointment of militants as regional hospital directors. Their only interest is to serve to the party not to the citizens.

The budget 2018 foresees the payment of a sum of EUR 40 Million for concessions given to four clients of PM Rama and his family. If these corruptive concessions would be immediately interrupted the above mentioned figure would be more than sufficient for the purchase of medicaments for every hospital in Albania.

But the Prime Minister of drugs and crime will not do so because he does not respond to anyone. That�s why it is of primary importance for each one of us to do everything within our capacities to prevent him from further infringing the citizens� health. His immediate dismissal is the only cure for the country,� said Basha.
