Cocaine Gang Busted in Italy, 11 Albanians Arrested

Some 11 Albanians were arrested on Monday by the Italian police as part of a gang involved in cocaine�s distribution. The arrested Albanians, whose identities have not yet been made public, used to supply VIP customers with cocaine doses in accordance to their requests.

The Italian media reported that the gang members communicated telephonically with their customers and then delivered the requested doses in their inhabitations. Specific codes were used during these communications to prevent the risk of being uncovered by the police.

Preliminary inquiries indicate that the price for a cocaine dose was up to EUR 60. A quantity of 350 grams of cocaine, 500 grams of marijuana and 500 ready to be distributed doses were seized in quality of material proofs during the gang members� arrest.
