Ionian-Adriatic Highway Feasibility Survey Kicks Off

The Ionian-Adriatic highway feasibility survey has already kicked off. This news was given by the Minister of Energetic and Infrastructure, Damian Gjiknuri during a meeting on Tuesday with his Montenegrin counterpart, Osman Nurkovic. Pairs underlined the importance of this survey that is expected to be finalized with a detailed analysis on the investments opportunities and project�s financial costs.

�The Ionian-Adriatic highway, a project of mutual interest, was the main topic of discussion during our meeting. The funds needed for the highway feasibility survey have been allocated and the process has already started,� declared Gjiknuri.

He also forewarned the opening of a joint border-crossing point in Han i Hotit.

�The joint border-crossing point opening will soon finalize the efforts of two governments and the respective institutions,� said Gjiknuri.
