An ownership dispute between a couple in Gjirokastra and their cousin ends tragically. The spouses where shot dead by their cousin who lived nearby in front of their 15-years old son. Aleko Kosta, 66 and his wife, Af�rdita Kosta, 49 died instantly due to the gunshots of Apostol Kosta. The author tried to commit suicide after this hideous crime but failed to do and was urgently hospitalized in critical conditions.

The double murder, which finalized a dispute over a small parcel of land between the victims and the killer�s houses, happened in presence of the couple�s 15 years old son.

Gjirokastra police opened an inquiry aiming to shed light on the circumstances of this tragic act while the perpetrator was immediately placed under arrest in hospital.
