November 18, 2016

Democratic Party chair, Lulzim Basha stressed that decriminalization implementation and anti-cannabis fight remain a priority of this political force. This declaration was made at the end of a meeting on Friday with Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto. During this meeting Basha praised the support given by Hungary to Albania while urging his interlocutor to deepen this support.

“Hungary is a major supporter of Albania’s European integration, thus I asked the continuation of this support,” said Basha.

Meanwhile Hungarian FM, Szijjarto expressed his appreciation for DP’s commitment toward country’s European integration.

“Albania is seen as a close partner to Hungary, thus I am pleased by the fact that majority and opposition are both in favor of EU accession,” said Szijjarto.
