Tahiri Launches Campaign to Collect Illegal Weapons

Minister of Interior Affairs, Saimir Tahiri launched on Tuesday the new campaign to collect all the illegal weapons all over the country. This campaign consists on sensitizing citizens to hand over all the illegal weapons they possess.

“These weapons have taken many lifes. Police officers will knock to every door to sensitize citizens to hand over their illegal weapons and to warn them of the risks. I urges to every Albanian citizens to give up on weapons. Those are the source of violence and conflicts,” said Tahiri.

Minister also promised that this is only the beginning of a big work.
