Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha suggested on Thursday the change of current electoral system. He declares that DP should be considered an accomplice in the existence of a system that enabled the traffickers and criminals’ arrival in parliament.
“Today we have a political system in which DP should be seen as accomplice. We started with the idea that regional-proportional would eliminate thugs and criminals, but thanks to Prime Minister Edi Rama this turned into the cradle of crime in politics. We will consider all ways and forms to end this system, to fill the gap between decision makers and voters to empower voters,” said Basha.
