Aquarelle Biennial, 400 Artists Paintbrush Mastery in Tirana

The International Association of Aquarellists for Albania and ‘VIZ-Art” will organize in Tirana the 2nd International Biennale of Aquarelle. Curator Helidon Haliti said that some 800 artists applied for this 2nd edition while only 400 of them were selected to be part of this event. The entire biennale is concentrated in the National Historic Museum (NHM) halls, but additional activities will take place in Teen Center and Youth’s Center. 

Beside the exhibition of great master’s creations and two more categories, this 2nd edition of the Biennale will also include live demonstrations by the artists in the NHM halls. 

Artists from over 65 different countries participate in this edition of the Biennale, presenting their creations realized during 2016. Of course, prizes like “Best Portrait”, “Best Image”, “Best Panorama”, “Best Composition”, “Best Abstract Art” and “Best Live Demonstration” will be awarded at the end of the Biennale. 

The 2nd edition of Aquarelle Biennial will raise the curtain on March 12 welcoming the art-lovers until April 12.
