Independence Day, Rama: Long Live to the Albanians
November 28, 2016

Albania celebrates on Monday the 104th Anniversary of Independence. On this occasion Prime Minister, Edi Rama addressed a congratulatory message to all the Albanian citizens.

“Happy Independence Day. Eternal gratitude to Ismail Qemali and the Albanian state founding fathers. Long live to Albania and Albanians wherever they may live,” wrote PM Rama.

Albania was proclaimed independent on November 28, 2012 by Ismail Qemali. 83 delegates from every Albanian territory participated in the meeting that preceded the independence declaration.

Meanwhile independence’s international recognition and Albanian borders definition was achieved one year later, during Ambassadors Conference in London.
