‘Tirana International Film Festival, shortly known as TIFF, 14th edition will soon kick off. The 14th edition of TIFF will take place since November 3 until November 11. A record number 1400 applications for participation in this festival have been presented from directors comming from 140 different countries. A total of 225 movies have been selected as the competitors in this edition of TIFF. 160 of these movies will compete in a number of different categories, while the rest will not become part of the competition. 

According to the movie selectors 23 Albanian movies will compete this year in the Albanian Movie category. 11 movies hold the signature of Albania directors while 10 movies of Kosovo directors. Meanwhile the Albanian-Macedonian directors will be represented with only two movies. 

All the competing movies will be screened for the first time, some of them in regional, european or even global premiere. Furthermore, this 14 edition of TIFF will be followed by the TIFF-Forum, an activity organized in cooperation with Turin Film Lab as a promoter of the cinematographic production in Albania and regional co-productions.
