Ilir Meta continued his campaign for the election of the head of Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), which will be held on November 6. During a meeting on Sunday with SMI structures in Kuçova and Berat he declared that this political force message is different from that of other parties.

“SMI's message is largely different from that of other political forces, because it is a message focused on the future. It is a message that is focused on solving problems and not to create new problems. Our political message is focused on the cooperation not the generation of conflicts,” said Meta.

He urged the SMI membership to consider these weeks preceding the new chair election as a chance for a different political action.

“We must use this period of time for the creation of an excellent and transparent organizing model. But, this must be at the same time a political reflection process within SMI, through a critical attitude toward every aspect of our work so far,” said Meta.
