The Albanian National Team players have already started the preparatory phase for the match against France during Euro 2016 finals, leaving behind the defeat by Switzerland. Mergim Mavraj remains calm even after this defeat aiming to avoid any pressure generated by this first result. “A defeat by France would be the end for us, but by the other side we have nothing to lose. We should exploit every chance while enjoying every moment of the Euro 2016 finals and do our best to give satisfaction to the fans” said Mavraj.

He declined the critics addressed to the national team after the defeat by Switzerland saying that “its easy to speak after a match. Of course there is an emotional factor due to the presence for the first time in this competition, but mistakes happen everywhere. Anyway, we not influenced by the emotions during most of the game. We made some mistakes even against Austria, Qatar and Ukraine and in that case they were not due to the emotions.

Meanwhile the defender Elseid Hysaj, that will lead the team in the match against France, used a more confident tone.

“We should play hard aiming a victory or a draw. I believe we can make it” said Hysaj.
