Ombudsman Igli Totozani expresses dissatisfaction for the treatment provided to the Roma community by the current social system. Through a press release issued on the Roma National Day, he said that this community remains a vulnerable group.
“Roma community remains a vulnerable group. Our social system accepts only formally those individuals while in reality they are excluded numerous public services. Despite the a certain social equality for this minority members this element exists only formally” said Totozani.
He focused on the crucial problem generated by the lack of proper education for the Roma community children due to the prejudices in the schools.
