Anti-Communist Protest Anniversary, DP: No to the Oligarchy

The 26th anniversary of the first anti-communist protest in Kavaja was commemorated through a protest organized by the Democratic Party. Speaking in front of the protesters the Head of DP parliamentary group Edi Paloka praised the Kavaja citizens’ courage that rose in sign of protest against dictatorship.

“This date belongs to the entire country, not only this city. Bravest men of this city confronted the Europe ’s harshest dictatorship. But still today, 26 years later, we face an oligarchic and criminal regime that brings back the same situation. Thus, we must act in the same way, overthrowing this regime,” said Paloka.
