OSHEE Continues to Update Data on 1.2 million Consumer Contracts

Electricity Distribution Operator is continuing the process of updating data on 1.2 million contracts that it has with customers, a process which started in September 2015.

This process aims to identify customers with exact addresses, how they are connected to the network (voltage level), as well as metering data.

In a press release, OSHEE said on Thursday that the aim of this update project is to fill the files which have lack of information on OSHEE subscribers.

For the subscriber, this is an advantage, as a file / contract with accurate / full / reliable data, makes service provided to him more transparent and efficient. The process of updating the data is anticipated to be closed by 2016. In this context, OSHEE is addressing even the "temporary contracts," process that is expected to end at the end of the month January 2016.

Temporary contracts are contracts which are connected to the power system without paying the legal obligation to the company to connect to network. Company stresses that the transfer of temporary contracts to definitive is free while it appeals this category to rush to counters of Customer Care to fill in the form with correct data. But OSHEE also stressed that the process to update the database will continue after the date January 31, 2016.
