Leader of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, Gianni Pittellareleased a strong declaration during his visit to Tirana. After the meeting with the Speaker of Parliament, Ilir Meta, Pitella declared that Albania needs leaders just like Ilir Meta and Prime Minister Edi Rama for the implementation of the reforms. 

"We have arrived here with a clear mission. We started our visit to the Balkans with Albania due to the strong connections with this country. We started with Mr.Meta because we belong to the same European Socialist family," said Pittella. He appreciated the government's work to fight corruption and progress done towards the reforms. Meanwhile the Speaker of Parliament, Ilir Meta, ensured the Leader, Pitella that the Judicial reform will be soonrealized and Albania will make further progress in the integration process.
